- It depends... the X-jack is more convenient than carrying a special cable
- around, but if you are trying to put two cards in a machine (such as a
- modem and an Ethernet card), you'll find that you can't plug into the
- X-jack because of physical interference from the cable or connector on the
- other card. If you are only going to use the modem by itself, the X-jack
- is convenient, but it can make it either awkward or impossible to use
- another card in the other slot.
